The Tax Accountant III is responsible for maintaining sales and use tax records, issuing tax credit memos, and preparing files to send to parent company to file returns.

The incumbent will develop and maintain Avialls computer based tax information and filing system, review all requests for tax credits, issue credit as appropriate, and assist with state sales tax audits.

This job is also responsible for providing tax information within the company, researching projects, and keeping abreast of current developments in the tax area.

Essential Functions – Maintain tax records, issue tax credits, and prepare tax filing data for parent company.

- Working knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).

- Advanced PC skills and proficient using an automated accounting software application.

- SAP experience preferred.
