Responsibilities:
? Plans, directs, and supervises the work of assigned personnel who perform Database Administration and development duties.
? Prepares and conducts performance review of assigned staff
? Ensure 99.999% database uptime
? Head discussions on data architecture with development team
? Evaluate and recommend technology changes affecting information systems
? Manage change control and database design
? Project manage development projects such as data integration projects for internal and external customers
? Work with business users to define requirements for development tasks involving database processes
? Provide 24×7 production support
Qualifications:
? Minimum 7 years SQL Server experience supporting production environment. Recent hands on experience.
? At least 15 years of Database management experience with at least 10 years in development field
? Service Management best practices, familiarity with shared services concept and experience with service-based accounting
? Strong business analysis, problem solving, data validation, and task management skills required
? Ability to think in the abstract and work strategically.
? Solid team-building skills.
? Self-motivated
? Ability to learn quickly
? Ability to problem solve high pressure issues
? Experience of working with multiple projects/tasks and the ability to prioritize on the fly.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills required to communicate complex information effectively
