Job Summary: Support very successful and innovative Mortgage Banker in managing and serving client prospects from initial contact through closing. Point person for day-to-day issues in pipeline management, ensuring operational and system efficiency. Responsible for all team administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting Mortgage Banker in lead management/conversion and in gathering documentation for preapprovals; manage follow up, track and communicate with incoming leads
* Prepare and send loan applications and disclosures, discovery items, and other pre-submission needs; track and submit complete file to processing
* Assist Mortgage Banker with current loan applications and preapprovals, including reconciling applications, assisting clients with documents and forms, answering client questions, setting up files in Encompass, and entering client information in database
* Perform client relationship management, communicating with previous and prospective clients and assisting Mortgage Banker in maintaining relationships, via phone, email, and in person
* Responsible for communicating and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal departments as needed on both in-process loans and preapprovals
* Run DU/LP, assist Mortgage Banker in obtaining preapprovals; research scenarios; prepare Cost Analysis Worksheets as directed by Mortgage Banker
* Participate in weekly pipeline meeting; send weekly updates to in-process clients and Realtors
* Responsible for contact database cleanup, entry, maintenance, and management, and back office support
* Maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of current investor, loan program, and industry requirements, regulations and compliance standards
* Work with Mortgage Banker to implement sales and marketing activities, including client learning events and client/partner appreciation events
* Attend closings when Mortgage Banker is unable
* Assist processor in handling client contact for in-process loans when needed
* Manage/maintain Mortgage Banker’s calendar, scheduling client appointments and closings; prepare team members for meetings and closings
* Perform administrative tasks such as documenting processes, file management, expense reconciliation, handling client testimonials, and reporting

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* At least 3 years administrative experience and 2 years sales experience, preferably in real estate, mortgage loan, banking, or other financial services industry
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Mortgage Banker license
* Experience in Encompass and/or experience with DU, LP, GUS, pricing engine preferred
